Guillaumes team saddle up for charity challenge

Solicitors from Weybridge-based law firm Guillaumes have saddled up to help raise much-needed funds for a local hospice charity.

Partners from the firm, including Carolynn Tan and Neil Sapsed, got on their bikes for the 23-mile Pedal4Charity fund-raiser in aid of the Woking and Sam Beare Hospices.

The gruelling route, which started and finished at The Cricketers pub, in Horsell Birch, covers both public roads and off-road tracks, providing a challenge for even the most experienced cyclist. Heavy rain the night before made the off-road sections extremely difficult and most riders returned covered in mud.

Commenting on the event, Carolynn said: “The Woking and Sam Beare Hospices is an extremely worthy cause, which made the hard work and effort required to complete the bike ride even more worthwhile.

“As a firm, we believe it’s important to support our community wherever possible. I know that the money raised on the day will make a real difference to those helped by the charity.”
